Routes
We have 548 routes in the system as of today, and for our size that's considerable. We will be renumbering them over the next few weeks, adding, and moving them to the more appropriate hubs.
General information concerning routes:
A Rainbird leased specific airplane needs to be identified for each route.
The VAFS3 program has a process that allows us to specify what day of the week a route can be flown, with a maximum scheduled time of 114 hours per week. We opted to make them available seven days a week. If we run over the 114 hour limit we will provide another plane.
We want to route planes to the places you want to fly. I believe the best way to do this is by getting that information from you. So please post your route requests in the Route forum. And please use the following format. )It just makes things easier for getting it in the VAFS3 program, I call it the dispatcher program).
1. Airplane
2. Departure ICAO - four letters if it has four. (Aircraft do not have to necessarily depart from or return to the HUB airport such as EGLL, KSEA, CYYZ, or PANC. An area within that HUB's operation can be used.)
3. Arrival ICAO
4. Type of flight, Cargo, Passenger, Tour.

Optional:
Any comments that may shed some light on the route.
Suggested SID/STAR or other navigational information.
We will check for plane availability, and when approved post it in the Dspatcher progrm. Will also post it's availability in the Routes forum.

Timber this sounds great, I do have a question. With the routes I already posted I left the aircraft up to you guys (I did give a list of types) as I don't know what is available. Do you need me to repost with the planes I want to fly or have you already started working on my list?

Good question Westwind. I have posted a few of them but am waiting on Aircraft availability. Would like to see just which type of plane you would like to see on each route. Here's what we have right now out of the Toronto Hub.
I apologize for the poor alignment. It reads Route, plane type (ICAO) Departure ICAO and name, Arrival ICAO and name. Time en route - includes 30 min turn around - distance, and availably. Be leary of the time en route. VCAS had a buggy problem when they move to another server or something here about two weeks ago. Just check the time against the distance.
