PostSubject: Repainting   Sat Jan 31, 2009 9:03 pm

Hi guys
Just attempting to repaint an existing bird - made the changes - looked good. Saved the file... but alas, when opening the bird - it was black ......

Any ideas on a resolve??

Cheers lads

Wiggy

Was this a FS9 bird for FSX? Or just FSX repaint?

hi jeff
it is a Mike Stone "Connie" - so FS9.. and of course I run with FSX.

I do seem to have resolved the issue.... at least for now..... that I have discovered DXTbmp converter thingo...

cheers mate

Nice work Wiggy! Be careful...cause you will get hooked... I'll never forget my first successful paint scheme.. Spent the whole night up painting another 2 or 9 birds!! (yes I said 9)

Lot's of fun once you master it.. Looks like you are well on your way!

Nice job sir!

Jeff

It will be a tough one due to the perspective the perspective... it may be easier if you can get some larger shots of the fuse in sections that can be seemed together... Do you have any other pics?
