Been recording Pounds Per Minute fuel consumption of the planes I fly, and now use them to set fuel requirements for other flights.Seems to work pretty well. Listed the AC builder because the mileage may vary with other versions.

Thanks Westwind, Yes that should have been a 300. I corrected it.

One other comment about fuel. One of the ways to improve your net is to calculate and load your fuel needs before you light off VAFS3. I try to land with about 10% remaining. You are charged for the fuel loaded NOT just what you used.

That is good to know. I guess with financials being what they are these days, extra tankerage is not warranted most of the time. I believe that most of the big boys do the same to save weight nowadays...

Hi Timber,

My research indicates the Citation X uses about 41 pounds per minute (although to be honest, I'm more used to thinking in terms of pounds per hour) so I plan for about 2450 pounds per hour.

I thought you might want to add that to your table. Wink
