Heya lads
Just wondering if you guys had come across a problem with VAFS & the Convair 580. Just thought I would download this bird and give her a run - seems a pretty popular bird....

But upon the VAFS engine shutdown - up came the dreaded error!

Cheers

Wiggy

cheers - Jeff - BTW well done & congrats on the all new look website! Shocked EYEOPENING!

As for the convair - I'll just go to the other extreme and blast a few c17 flights in and get up some cargo revenue and then work around this little problem with the 580.

Has anyone else use the 580 in FSX?

cheers

I am running the Convair 580 and haven't experienced that issue as of yet, running a 'plain jane' FSX without acceleration or any other goodies...

Very Happy

thanks to all for the assistance with the 580.

Ken - I have got her up in the air - and what a great 'ol bird she is!

I can see why Rex has completed "a couple" of flights in her! Smile

Wiggy: If you need any additional help, let me know...I'll be glad to help in any way Very Happy

I know Ken loves her and so do I...I hear that the boss loves her too...

She is a pretty ol' bird, isn't she? Stable in flight and on approach....
