 ATR 42-500 fuel estimates

Been logging my fuel consumption and came up with an average of 23 pounds per minute after 16 trips. How does this process sound; I look at the VAFS estimated flight time and add another 30 minutes to that. For the run from BGBW to BGSF VASF3 is estimating 1.8 hours (96 min) add another 30 for a total of 126 minutes. Did the math and came up with a rounded off 2900 pounds required. Am setting up for that flight now. Will let you know what the real bottom line is later tonight. One big thing is the wind Very Happy

OK Just finished the BGBW to BGSF. VAFS3 recorded 2608 pounds of fuel burned.
