Do you have a spare card that you could swap out and see if that's the issue?

No, but I'm investing buying a new one, just to see what happens, since I found some that are fairly reasonable....

Denny,
You might uninstall your present video driver and reinstall or upgrade, if there's an update available. It certainly won't hurt anything.

I tried that Dick, but it didn't help, of all the investigating I have done, it points to the video card, so I found one that fits and is compatable and ordered it (it was on sale too, with an extra $5 rebate)...
we're looking at getting a new computer at some point, so this will buy us a little time.....
Does fs2004 work with Vista? or the new Windows 7 that is coming out?

I too have Vista 64 and FS9 runs well. Should work with Win7. I'll know more about that next month as I have preordered it....

Denny,
You might want to remove Video card, and reboot. Clean the contacts on Video card and reinstall. You never know.......could get Lucky.
