Gents,

I am diligently working on the VAFS4 issues that I am aware of.... I should have all of our data straight in a bit... I will not be able to check the flying status until I finish that... but it will be tonight I promise..

Jeff

I just completed MCA 0923, KATL-KMCI. A little bit reluctant to start up, but seemed to run without a hiccup...I hope.

Thanks Guys,

Here is a list of stuff I am trying to get resolved or get ETA's on:

No selection button in VAFS Map.
Zero Cargo shown
Some pilots say they do not show in the map but others do
Times? Computer generated not FS? This is a big issue!
Features - Still not sure what some of them are
Starting flights - Needs to be easier... maybe we will get used to it.. I think it is cumbersome
Various other things of minor consequence...

I will report back whatever I find out or hear of fixes... Thank you for your patience!

Jeff

Jeff,

RE: block times, I think VAFS computes them OK, but uses Local (real world) in the flight summary.

For instance, my last recorded flight shows :

Block Out Time:18:14L 20:2Z 15:2F

I assume (L)ocal for the user, (Z)ulu in flight sim, then local in (F)light Sim
What is confusing is that Local for the user has no real use and does not necessarily match Zulu in FS. And in the flight recap, it shows only 18:14L, where it should IMHO show zulu.

Hope that helps.

Eric

Jeff,

I completed a flight this morning and tried to upload it several times, but it does appear to have gone through. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Hi Del,

Looks like they may have down a while... Try saving it again the next time you do a flight... Let me know... I will check again at the VAFS forums

Wish we could go back to version 3. I completed a flight but can't upload the info. I never had that problem with v3.

Mike,

Take it on good advice that I wish the same. Nonetheless... not in the cards.... silent

Please describe what is happening when you try to upload... errors? timeouts? etc.... I will go troll the forums there right now to see what has arisen with this specific topic.. I will post any info I find here.

Thank you!

Jeff

Jeff,
When I click the upload flt button, it takes a couple of minutes and then I get a window with data. The last line says,
"FTP Response23 : 425 unable to open the data connection."
