Thanks, I've actually logged 31 hours and 26 minutes flying for Rainbird but it didn't get credited by VAFs for one reason or another. Thanks to Timber for the additional routes.

Yesterday, I was twenty minutes out of San Diego, on the way to Elko, when FSInn took a crap on me. The only way to reset it is to re-boot the sim and I knew if I did that, I'd lose the VAFs as well which I was loathe to do. So I flew the rest of the flight without ATC which kinda bummed me out. That's the one thing I don't like about VAFs.

I will adjust your hours so no worries there... My question is, do you remember the symptoms of the flights that did not record? Did you get an "engine start" and "block off" message?

I want to make sure that online flights don't do this.. As I know you fly a lot on Vatsim... I have yet to try an online flight with VAFS but I know there are many VA's using both VAFS and Vatsim everyday...

Anything stick out about the failed flights? Maybe we can figure this out as we don't want anyone to lose credit for their flights..

I appreciate your efforts Jeff, but perhaps it might not be fair to the others, given the rules that we operate under.

I only lost one or two flights due to technical difficulties...most of the others were flights I did without logging into VAFs because the routes weren't available. Part of my rationale was to get our name out there on VATSIM so people, (both pilots and controllers) would become familiar with Rainbird. I still get called "Redbird" from time to time but its getting better .

As to flying on VATSIM--you know what a diehard I've become with that aspect of flightsimming. I simply cannot imagine flying with decent aircraft and scenery--trying to do things as realistic as possible, and not using online controllers.

Plus, its free!
