The newest download contains the "cheat" to allow a co-pilot with any aircraft, and it works (so far).
Here is the response from FS++:
To force co-pilot on all aircraft, proceed as follows:
Find the file "mce.ini" at the following path
On Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\User_Name\Application Data\Multi Crew Experience\mce.ini (you need to enable hidden files and folders to find it)
Open the file using notepad
Change the following line
ForceCopilot=0 (Found just below [OPTIONS])
to
ForceCopilot=1
Save the file
From now on, co-pilot will be available on all aircraft.
Please note that, since we have made that possible, we did not check all the possible operations that can be done on a single aircraft. But as time permits, we will address any issue that may arise.
Regards,
The FS++ team
Edit:
In fact to get the latest mce.ini you would have had to run the application wizard again.
Or one can add the line as I did.
Just tried it using the MAAM DC3 and it was fantastick. I asked the CP to adjust the rudder -5 degrees and it was performed perfectly. If you had the TQ window open you would see the handle rotating to set the rudder as requested. Gear also was raised by the CP and "he" handled ATC without a hitch. I haven't checked all functions as of yet, but will let the support team know if I find any issues that I can't resolve. (I think I already have one, but will post that after further testing.)
Right now I am estatic with MCE.
