Hello I have a question. When I want to get VFR cleance for taxi I get the message: you should make such a request at the appropriate time. Sometimes I get the clearance. What does that means? I ask for example: Lufthansa 1121 request taxi depart straight out. Do I anything wrong?

You should make sure the aircraft is not moving at all before asking for taxi.

Forgot to mention. Also make sure all engines are running. That is don't be tempted to ask for taxi while still starting the last engine.

Thank you. I use AES. I use the push back funktion. Must i only stand when I make the request when the engines are running? During Push back i start the engines. Then I stop and want to request taxi clerance.

You're not alone here. I've been fighting this issue for some time now, and can't get any pattern to it. I always start engines during pushback and then after setting parking brake and completing after start checks, I request taxi clearance. Sometimes MCE will allow it.. sometimes not. It seems to be a random bug. I would think they would simply remove the capability to deny taxi clearance. If I want to make that request at the wrong time, then so be it.
