Hey, trying to use the software, but multicrew screen won't show up in-game.

It pops up, screen freezes and flickers, goes white, then the control panel disappears again. in fsx main menu, the multicrew show up most of the time, and i can adjust settings. however, in game it will not. error seems like some of the fsx errors that occured with 'tooltips' freezing.

Windows XP pro. FSX gold. Put multicrew on top of a clean install. tried different planes and different under different settings in fsx, like disabled 'tooltips' and 'pause on task switch' and disabled 'bloom'.

geforce 9600gt. headset lifechat lx-3000. have trackir/saitek x52 w/ rudder pedals. Just did a clean install of windows with latest drivers.

I can't get atc to respond. hope this is why. did all voice training, some twice, did windows training too. tried messing with different settings in windows voice, and multicrew settings. followed guidelines in this thread, adjusting speed sliders, call sign problems, etc. trying to do simple vfr, cannot get atc to respond to me for anything.

any help would be appreciated

Multi Crew Experience control panel is not meant to show in FSX. Its main purpoe is selecting all the options you want once in a while. It runs on a separate process from FSX, and is only guaranteed to display properly when FSX is not in "full screen ode".
But the most important aspect of this application, i.e. speech recognition, will work even if you can't see the control panel.

When it comes to ATC, quite a few people had to go through a learning curve.

Is interaction with co-pilot OK? Is he/she recognizing your commands?
