Crews,

Once operations resume, Phase I recurrent for Spring 2009 will be made available via MCA's new computer-based testing system.

All current MCA/RBD pilots will be required to complete Phase I recurrent before the end of March.

Hello Mike!

On a related topic, I was wondering where/when I can send my CATII/III submission. Also, do I simply answer the questions in the body of an e-mail and attach the jpegs to said e-mail? Also, Also (grin), at present, there is nothing attached to the ETOPS link. Will that be working soon?

Thanks!

Mike,

What user ID and password do we use to get into phase 1 materials? My pilot ID and password from the old website do not work!

Thanks,

Hi Del,

I have emailed the Login and Password to the entire group. This password is global and works for all protected areas. Pilots please make note of it. Thank you!

And BTW, this is a temporary password system. I am working on a CGI script that will be based on pilot number and password as before.

Thank you!

Jeff

Hi Denny,

Please check your normal email for the password. I have sent this same note to the entire group.

Thanks, Jeff

Murray,

For now, any quizzes that you need to submit may be sent to ops@midconair.com

That includes the jpg's for the CAT II/III as well. All the testing will be migrated to the online, computer-based system most likely by the end of the week.

Is the computer-based testing system operational now Mike? The reason I ask is because I decided to "test" it out this evening - the Phase I recurrently tests. Upon clicking the first test, I was asked to enter my particulars. On clicking subsequent tests it did not, unless I closed explorer and reopened to the MCA crew/Phase I test area. I quess what I am wondering is, did any of the tests I took (the first four) record at your end with my identity attached. Did the last one (which I failed -DOoH!) record - as failed.

BTW, I know these tests can be performed in an "open book" manner. But as a test, I wanted to see how well I could do from memory - hense the failure of the last test!!! Shocked Smile

Thanks! I hope I made sense??? Smile

Hey Murray,

The testing site is active, but not necessarily complete and "ready for business" shall we say. I still have some tweaking to do. Also, I don't have any of Phase I recurrent posted yet other than just the welcome page. The actual testing material will be attached at a later date.

What you completed tonight was 6 out of the 8 new-hire pilot exams for Initial Training, which is fine, no big deal. Hope you enjoyed it! Not only do I have record of all your exams, I have a time/date stamp when you started, the total time it took you to complete it, and your scores! Very Happy

Well Mike, I guess we can look at that as a successful test of the new-hire pilot exams than. Glad I could contribute! Laughing

Anyone have the weather training package? I somehow forgot to download it and now I'm trying to go from memory and failing the quiz in a craptacular manner.
